Mayerson, Principal
As principal and founder of Mayerson Marketing & Public Relations, Nancy possesses more than 25 years of expertise in developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication efforts for public and private agencies. Nancy has received many awards, including 2009 NAWBO Community Advocate of the Year and one of 2007 and 2008’s Top 50 Women in Business by the Pacific Coast Business Times, among others. MMPR has been honored several times as a Ventura County Family-Friendly Employer by Work L.I.F.E of Ventura County.
Nancy has actively worked on several boards of directors, including Oxnard Chamber of Commerce, CLU Board of Counselors, Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, United Way of Ventura County, Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County, Ventura County Civic Alliance Steering Committee and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme.

Luce, Account Manager
Suzanne has more than 10 years experience with marketing campaigns, including client consulting, planning and implementation. She is a graduate of the Ventura County Leadership Academy and served for several years on the Thousand Oaks Business Roundtable, appointed by the Thousand Oaks City Council.

Kristin Thebaud, Account Manager
An award-winning writer, publicist and photographer, Kristin has nearly 10 years of experience in public relations and marketing, including an emphasis on nonprofit marketing and fundraising.
Prior to joining MMPR, Kristin managed public relations for five counties at United Way California Capital Region in Sacramento, handling all public relations activities, writing all collateral materials and creating a new brand. She has also assisted with public relations campaigns for such clients as the Hollywood Wax Museum, Hollywood Christmas Parade and the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District.

Elena Trevino, Elena
Trevino Design
Artistic flair, creative messaging, industry knowledge and customer satisfaction make up the driving force behind Elena Trevino's work. With more than 20 years of experience in the advertising and graphic design business, Elena has designed collateral materials, logos, banners and identity programs for a variety of clients. She has also worked on multimedia projects that include design and production of Web sites, logos and packaging of products. Her keen sense of visual stimuli and creative energy result in bold, inventive and dynamic designs to complement the written message.
Teresa Weiss, Designer/Illustrator
As far as she can remember, Teresa Weiss has had a paintbrush in her hand. Artistically gifted as a child, she took her talents to new heights when she attended and graduated from the prestigious Arts Center in Pasadena with a B.A. in illustration. Her watercolor paintings have been exhibited at several shows, most notably the "Tara Health Center Art Show" and the Moorpark College Student Art Gallery. Among the projects featuring her artwork are the Ventura County Arts Council poster, the Village at Sherman Oaks banners and the Whale's Tail ad campaign. With an eye for color and unique talent for creating designs ranging from bold statements to whimsical characters, Teresa's illustrations captivate the most discerning eye.
Jim Bass, Bassworks

After a brief stint as a sportswriter for a daily newspaper in Montgomery, Alabama, Jim Bass moved to Miami, Florida, where he owned and operated a public relations firm for 10 years. He moved to California in the late '80s, working as a screenwriter, and then turned to writing, producing and developing multimedia projects in 1993.
He later went on to develop training content for Washington Mutual, Cingular Wireless, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Boston Market. He has produced multimedia CD-ROMs for the Consumer Electronics Show from 2005-2008. He has developed more than two dozen Web sites and started Web businesses, one of which was honored in 2000 as a “Fast Company” by Fast Company magazine.
